Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Office of Facilities Management is seeking a Facilities Operations Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Facilities Director.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Space Planning

  • Incorporate corporate standards, create/revise AutoCAD drawings
  • Update room and workstation number assignments/ Space tagging, Space change plans and execution, Signage, and Occupancy Reports.

Administration

  • Remedy work orders, signage, and furniture.
  • Quality control inspections, and furniture inventory coordination.
  • Assist the Business Manager with financial management and help desk services of the department as needed.
  • Coordinate data and workflow in the DEAM system

Move Coordination

  • Coordinate with movers and IT staff to accomplish both academic and residential moves, including residential move-ins and move-outs.
  • Utilize Facilities Management Systems (DEAM) and (Star Rez) to document and coordinate.
  • Process and maintain employee relocation requests, and manage an employee database.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Facilities Management or Business Management or the equivalent in training, education, and 2-4 years of experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong time management, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to work on multiple projects, simultaneously, with attention to detail.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with AutoCAD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in AutoCAD.
  • Experience working with Facilities Management Systems and/or Software.
  • Experience and knowledge of space planning and building codes.

Salary Range:

$37.91 - $47.25
