Job Summary/Basic Function:

The Post-Doctoral Researcher, with supervision from the senior team, will mainly participate in research activities associated with a Post Secondary Student Success Grant and a STEM grant from the National Science Foundation, which includes STEM-related professional development research activities, preparation of related materials, and dissemination activities.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the implementation of research activities related to the National Science Project, STILE 3.0 and PSSG Welcome grant with quantitative technology
  • Work in collaboration with Center staff to prepare reports and conference papers that document the Center's activities
  • Work in collaboration with the research team to collect, prepare and analyze quantitative research data within the team’s organizational structures.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including school and university employees
  • Work with the research team to prepare and present findings and research at professional conferences drawing on engineering expertise to situate content within that domain.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Statistics or a related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in a research environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Qualtrics, etc.)

Salary Range:

63,200-70,000

Hybrid/Remote
